About the Zion/Hope Food Bank

The Zion/Hope Food Bank is a ministry run out of Zion CRC in Oshawa, by both the Congregations of Zion CRC, and Hope Fellowship CRC in Courtice. The Food Bank has been serving Oshawa for over 15 years! The Food Bank is run solely by volunteers between both congregations, and some volunteers from the community.

The Food Bank is opened every Thursday from 11 AM – 12:00 PM in the Zion Christian Reformed Church Fellowship Hall!

For many reasons, for many people, putting food on the table can be a struggle. The Zion/Hope Food Bank is open to those in the Oshawa and surrounding community who need assistance in providing food for themselves and their family.
What do I bring? How does it work?
To make use of Food Bank services, you must bring a piece of Photo ID for yourself, and anyone in your family (ie. spouse, children) that the food would be going to.
The Food Bank opens at 11:00, but you are welcome to line up at the Food Bank door (signs posted) earlier. If you have any other questions about how the Food Bank works, contact the Zion CRC Office.
