What is Meeting at the Well?

The Meeting at the Well is a worship gathering which offers spiritual food to those attending the Zion-Hope Food Bank.
Our gathering is for those who are hungering for more than physical food, and are in need of spiritual nourishment. Meeting at the Well is a gathering that offers acceptance, encouragement and Christ-centered guidance and prayer.

Who is it for?

Meeting at the Well is open to those who attend the Food Bank on Thursdays, and is open to anyone in need of encouragement and who wishes to spend time with God!

What does it look like?

After gathering together at 10AM in the Sanctuary, a 30-minute video clip is shown, after which there is a time for open reflection and conversation in regards to the particular question or topic of discussion. Currently, we are working through the “Alpha” series, which asks questions like “Who is Jesus” and “Why Did Jesus Die“? We also share in a time of prayer together, acknowledging that life is full of struggles, and that God is a source of strength and comfort in our time of need.
