John and Marian Vandermeer, members of Zion CRC, have been working with Wycliffe for several years translating the word of God for many people across the world.

Jews for Jesus is one of the organizations that Zion supports. Jews for Jesus Canada is a Jewish evangelistic agency dedicated to bringing the Gospel into places where a significantly Jewish testimony is needed. Jews for Jesus coming to Zion CRC

Join us on Sunday November 6, 2011 at 10:00 AM as speaker Laura Barron comes from Jews for Jesus to share their program entitled `Christ in the Feast of the Tabernacles`. This sermonic demonstration uses dramatic visual aids to paint a picture of how Jesus fulfilled the Festival of Sukkot (also known as the Feast of Booths or Tabernacles). Our missionary will actually set up a small tabernacle from which he or she will use various props to explain the traditional and Christological significance of this holiday. Jesus' claims to be the Light of the World and the Living Water pop into perspective as the meaning of this holiday unfolds. 

Sheila Dykstra is our newest addition to the list of missions/missionaries we support. Sheila is working out of West Africa and focusses on training other teachers in West Africa in the various aspects of classroom life. She has trained on topics such as `teaching and learning through games & play`, `classroom management techniques and alternative discipline techniques`, etc. Her love for teaching and helping others make her a great person for the job she does.
